Hot Chocolate
Hot Chocolate is dessert, melted to order. No powder, no packet paste — we drop two whole Swiss chocolate truffles into the pot, one dark and one extra dark, and boil them gently in 100% milk until the shells give way and the molten centers melt clean through. What pours out is deep, velvety, and creamy: real melted chocolate, the bittersweet depth of the darker ball rounded out by the smoothness of the other, sweet only from the chocolate and the milk itself. No syrups, no shortcuts. Just chocolate, milk, heat, and patience. Two truffles. One cup.
Why No Powder
Nearly every café hot chocolate in America is powder or syrup stirred into steamed milk. Ours is actual chocolate — whole truffles melted to order, their molten centers loaded with cocoa butter, which is exactly what makes this cup silkier than any powder can get. The darker truffle brings bittersweet depth; the other rounds it smooth. Nothing added at the bar — the sweetness is already in the chocolate.
